CHOsulu reporter cell lines | serum-free detection of hormonal activity with suspension cells

CHF 1'190.00

Next to all the animal-free products, Scinora has developed serum-free reporter cell lines specifically designed to fit in automated systems for screening as well as monitoring. Our CHOsulu series of reporter cell lines in suspension provides a convenient and versatile workflow with fast detection below 24 hours.

All CHOsulu reporter cell lines are based on CHO-K1 adapted to a spezialised chemically defined, serum-free medium. CHOsulu reporter cell lines encode the secreted Gaussia luciferase under the control of the respective soluble human receptor and response element. The secreted Gaussia luciferase enabels a constant detection starting at 14 hours after treatment.

Due to the growth in susupension, the CHOsulu reporter cell lines can be used in polypropylene (PP) storage plates used in library screenings due to their solvent resistence. Standard tissue culture polystyrene or glass plates can be used as well.

Currently, the following cell lines with the respective human receptor are available:
CHOsulu-ERalpha (estrogen receptor alpha)
CHOsulu-ERbeta (estrogen receptor beta)
CHOsulu-GR (glucocorticoid receptor)
CHOsulu-TRbeta (thyroid receptor beta)
