SciKit | Universal serum-free medium and supplement kit system
The Scinora media and supplement Kit (SciKit) has been developed to support sustainable growth for various vertebrate cell lines as well as primary cells derived from animal tissue. It combines the experience in media development for many different cell types of more than 10 years.
All liquid media formulations within this kit are chemically defined and free of any animal-derived components or proteins/peptides. All media are ready-to-use and contain stable glutamine (L-Ala-L-Gln). No further supplementation is needed.
Furthermore, the kit contains lyophilised supplements containing either a chemically defined, animal-free growth factor and hormone mix, respectively, or the proprietary human liver cell line-derived, animal component-free protein concentrate XplaceH.
All formulations have unique compositions and by combination, different cell types can be cultured.
